Thanks Marianne, I find them a good alternative to a traditional photograph album and I prefer looking at pictures in print rather than on a computer screen.
Andrew, just flicked through your Balkans book. It was like I was following in your shadow at times! Brave of you to drive – I will never forget the late night taxi ride back to Dubrovnik from Mostar going through the Serb controlled part of Bosnia. Some brilliant pictures in your book.
Thanks Wilbur, I appreciate that. I find that the photo books are a good way of recording travels and holidays. Digital images are great but hard to share and photograph albums just take up so much space. Driving was ok in both Croatia and Bosnia but sometimes a bit scary in Montenegro. I was going to drive to Albania but the Foreign Office advises against it.
I’ve only just discovered this page of your blog, Andrew. These books are lovely – well done! 🙂
